Policy and Public Affairs Officer

Ciaran Molloy is responsible for managing and co-ordinating CIC policy lines within various committees and task groups, specifically those in relation to : public affairs, health and safety, sustainable construction, design quality, procurement and improved standards. As a member of the policy development team at CIC his responsibilities include :

  • producing responses to Government consultation documents and writing public policy statements, speeches and reports;
  • essential communications and networking with parliamentarians, civil servants and the construction industry;
  • attending meetings and recording minutes as part of this liaison exercise;
  • representing CIC at various industry conferences, seminars and workshops; and
  • handling enquiries on contemporary issues affecting the industry particularly in relation to public affairs and health and safety.
